Proof of my scrapping O.C.D.

i sat down with my little sizzix sidekick and a few small dies and punches. i managed to get these hearts and photo corners out of the leftover negative sheet paper from the country living kit from SU:) it makes my heart HAPPY to use up every last bit of paper!!!
i also had this grid style leftover from a bunch of square diecuts. check out how i used it below.
i used SU kraft cardstock and a few pieces of leftover Garden Tea DSP paper. I adore this color combo and baja breeze is my FAVORITE color right now. i am going to have to stock uo before it retires:)
i used the grid paper as a photo mat block and cut my pictures to fit. since i only had 3 pictures, i decided to used the last block to create a journal square. i pieced leftover scraps and used a photo rounder to create the scallops. i also used a small hole punch to make the eyelet effect on the scallop.
i used my QK dies and a set of cuttle bug heart dies to finish off the title and embellishments. my love affair with pop up dots continues!
most of this page was made with scraps. MY FAVORITE type of pages to do!!!!

you can TOTALLY get the most bang for your buck when you utilize those little tiny scraps. and it is environment-friendly:)

i used to be such a paper snob.

once upon a time i was a massive paper snob.
i would only buy designer papers...GOD forbid i get a stack of anything...
and then i quit all my design teams, and i wanted to get back to scrapping for the fun aspect.
Lately i have been buying LOTS of pads and stacks from our local stores. Yup....with coupons, people! i look forward to that 50% coupon in the paper:)))

Luckily the stacks are waaaaaaaayyy better than they used to be. i was delighted to find this little 6x6 pad called Chloe's Closet at M's the other day. SO FRIGGIN' cute! the colors are beautiful and i can layer to my hearts content. PLUS the storage is minimal because of the size.

Yup...scrappin' on a budget! it can be done!!!!!!

Kwerner Color Inspiration:)

i dig color challenges:) sooooo FUN!
i used: Really Rust, More Mustard, WW cardstock.
             Old Olive Classic Ink.
             Country Living stamp set
             silver cord
             SU sentiment.
i also versamarked the background and embossed with white powder.
simple and CLEAN:))))

The Green Pad:)

The joy of re-discovering tools:)
I have a few QK alpha's and never use them because the ol' sizzix is too big and bulky to carry around.
soooooo, i went to M's and i was able to score a sidekick for 7.99.
and i got this pad of 8x8 paper at Joanne's. Cause i am all about the sales and clearance stuff:)
seriously:)
