my favorite monday song is i don't like mondays from the boomtown rats:)

but anyway....

after a full day of picking up all the sick kids from school, shuffling them to the drs office, going to get their medication (antibiotics, AGAIN) and getting home to play with my little poochy dog, i am TIRED!

but this morning i actually did the card below...before the you know what hit the fan.

i got yet another set today from unity in the mail: Birthday Chic and i got the polka dot background...though i should have gotten distressed dot instead...ugh:)

did i mention the hubby BANNED the credit card? LOL.

ok..so these are way crappy pictures. it is a rainy/yucky/dreary day here in the NYC.

i got these done last nite in an effort to use up some of my SU stuff. it sure does pile up. YIKES!

supplies are as follows:

cardstock: SU kraft, WW, certainly celery, bashful blue

paper: SU saleabration paper

ink: bashful blue, certainly celery, so saffron, close to cocoa

corner punch, certainly celery grosgrain ribbon, rhinestone brads, retired hardware.

these are all old pages that i am re-doing. most were two page spread if you can believe:)

all of my negatives from the early days were thrown away, so i have been slowly redoing and re-living these pages.

it's not something i would tell anyone to do, but i am sooooo loving it:)

Ok...so here's my projects for the super-duper HUGE hip hop:)

all of the cards except the one with the daisy silo. are 3.5x3.5...my favorite new size.

i am not good with lots of embellishing and it is so hard for me to fill a lot of space, so this is perfect.

all i did was cut up my 12x12 cardstock into 8.5x11 and then used the leftover strip to make a 7 inch long strip. Score it in the middle and you have a cool little card that you can tuck into basically anything:)

i hope you enjoy the projects and that this hip hop gets you ALL fired up to get scrapping and stamping with Unity!

i recently downsized my cardstock supply.

8.5x11 is my favorite size to scrap (actually i am doing all my pages rectangular now), so i decided to cut all my 12x12 down.

being the frugal scrapper than i am, i made a supply of 3.5x3.5 pre-scored cards to use.

ohhhhhhhhh happiness:) it is so infinitely cool to just grab a box of cards and start stamping...picking up little odd and ends to finish them up:)

and unity KOTM stamps fit PERECT in them..... ohhhhhhh yeah:)

Ramblings and lists:)

the last few days have been a little crazy, as usual.

i revamped my basement, finally covered the ugly couch and hopefully will be painting over the butt-ugly amityville horror red room color.

so i AM getting papercrafty toady....but i am holding on to all my stuff for the unity hip hop (see the massive blinkie on the side-bar)

BUT since i cleaned up the supplies in the last few days i thought i'd make  a little list:

Ari's New things she is totally diggin' lately:)

1. Organization: it is the coolest thing to grab a box and have ALL your buttons, ribbons, pens pencils and such in one place:)

2. Boxes of pre-scored cards: Cause i did this and it makes me HAPPY!

3. Pattern Paper i LOVE: no more ihavetousethisfugly paper.

4. Stamps and ink: Because they just rock:)

5. Dimensionals and glue dots: I LOVE SU's dimensionals.

6. Color coordinated cardstock and papers: SU and Papertrey will have my heart forever!

7. Unity's KOTM: you cannot, i repeat CANNOT beat this deal. the images are whimsical and AWESOME! seriously.....go check it out!

8. Papertrey's buttons: OHHHHHHHH YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHH.

9. My stampamajig: it RULES!

10. Fingertip craft knife: SAYYYYYYY WHA? it is the best invention. as soon as my finger heals i'll be using it CONSTANTLY!
