this is the only room in the house with dark floors because zoe wanted them that way:) she has a comfortable couch and a loft bed. we will be replacing the chest of drawers with a desk and getting new curtains, couch slipcover and bedding, plus a new coat of paint and a new door. she already has a pink and green "teen" type theme picked out:)
chloe and devyn sleep in here:) we put in the new floors( FINALLY ripped out the last of the carpet) and painted the room in a medium taupe color we will be using for the rest of the upstairs. they are BEYOND happy and i think it looks smashing:) we will be putting new curtains, bedding and a new door. the girls wanted a more loft type look with a baja blue, cream and black type theme. so sophisticated for little kiddies, eh? LOL
the dh was kind enough to build this for me:) it goes the length and width of the window area to maximize the space:) cost: $24.00 for the shelf. the stainless steel tubing is recycled.
