one of the neatest things about digi scrapping is the very minimal amount of actual thinking you need to do. now, i am all for the creative aspect of scrapping. i know that there are people who view it as an artforn and all the power to them. to me, though, scrapping is more about putting papers and memories together. maybe because i dont have many pictures of myself when i was growing up?
who knows?
the point is that there is no right or wrong, there is no good or bad, there is no fine line that divides hobby and art. you do what feels right and at the end of the day, that's what it is all about, isn't it?
templates make life so much easier. what is better than having the actual design and flow of a page already done for you? all the thinking is taken out of the equation and all you have to do is have fun filling in the empty spots. just like a coloring book with crayons...that was some GOOD fun:) if you want to tweak it, you can add or subtract items or leave it as is, or start with the template as a springboard and transform it into something else.
and then you print it as a photo and it is pratically indestructible. no little hands messing anything up.
that alone is the best!
